Not sure. It needs a lot of small work. with everything new and clean I'd like to get it all done before I get er dirty. Biggest thing is I need to find a place to mount the tranny cooler and get the driveline angles correct. also need to fabricate an antiwrap bar. Belly pan needs mounted better and tucked up higher(easy to do). Install front driveshaft, fix front axle hub, adjust shift linkage, install wiper linkage, fix parking brake. doesn't have turn signals or speedometer cable. Need to fix the steering assembly, its loose due to a broken "housing" on the firewall. Also need to install a mechanical temperature guage. then I need to go over every single bolt on that thing and make sure they are all tight. the seat needs bolted down to the cage that needs to be built and the 5 point harness needs installed to the cage that will be built. Other than that there is not much to do. It has a 700r tranny and 231 case. I dont expect them to last long. I'd like to install a turbo 400 and a ford NP205 tcase(so I can have drivers side front output since the front D44 and the replacement D60 are both drivers side pumpkin). this will happen next year, if the current setup lasts that long. i will run the 35 or 37" tires I have for the YJ for now. no sense in buying more tires when I'll have to do it again when I install the D60's.

Today I cleaned up the front axle and scraped the 1/4" of greasy dirt off the axles. also cleaned up the hubs and other small parts that will be reused. Also removed the front D44 axle from the CJ. Started getting ready to reassemble the front 60. I placed the BTF bumper and shackle hanger on the front to see what it would look like. In this picture it looks like the front is done and the back is yet to be done but it is just the opposite. I removed the 4" lift springs and put flat YJ springs on the rear spring over. The front of the CJ did not come with a bumper. You can see the old shackles hanging. Front axle was removed. Blue Torch Fab full width kit includes a new bumper which is where the shackles hang. I paid extra for tube work and for D-ring hangers. These are the axles that came out and are for sale.

Did some front end work today rear spring hangers for front axle. Front spring hangers for front axle. New BTF bumper welded on with mounts. Finally have it back on it's wheels. Oh yeah I put the iroks on the H2's and I think I really like that look.

I just made another major purchase for this project. Purchased a set of axles that are already built. Same axles as what I have 79 ford but front has 35 spline all the way out, Yukon shafts and Yukon super joints, ARB front locker and heavy duty diff cover, high steer setup etc. Rear has 35 spline shafts, spool, heavy duty diff cover. Axles are already set up with 5:13 gears. Expensive but a really good deal at $3,200. I already have a buyer for my front axle and I will have no trouble selling the rear since it is a full floater and only 66" wms to wms.

Wheels and tires were ordered today. Dropped the idea of 39.5 since they are expensive and only come in 16.5" rim size. dropped down from 39.5x18w to 38.5x15w and cost is down from 407 each to 300 each. big difference for just an inch of tire. Also ordered Trailready 16x10 beadlocks in steel at 258 each. now we're rollin. still waiting for parts though. Got my engine mounts in today.
