I think I may have left an adaptor at Vons garage. It was an adaptor that would fit on a 1/2" drive ratchet and allows the use of the larger 3/4? or 1" drive socket for the pitman arm. Not sure if I left it there or if it fell out in the truck somewhere.

Its inevitable - I'm gonna have to get a grown up vehicle sooner or later and when I do I want to get something strong enough to pull a trailer for the jeep.

My thoughts are that I could sell/trade the 91 YJ for a trailer - but I don't know what specs to look for in a trailer. The TJ is 6'1" wide from front tire to front tire - which sucks bc I know I've seen trailers that are 6ft wide. I would want to get the smallest/lightest that could transport a jeep.

I'm doing this all ...

Drove to PA to get it, and now it sits in the back of the Jeep.

It no longer squeels at idle but I will have to take it for a test run through the neighborhood. Hopefully it will fix the problem of the belt being thrown every time the motor gets wet. Next on the list:

1. 9" currie rear axle tube is leaking out the drivers side again. I'm gonna take it apart and see if it needs a new seal or something.

Another Rock Krawler brand product bit the dust. During the wheeling event at Rock run Park on "Guru" the track bar mount ripped apart. I was able to escape the trail with the front axle winch sucked down and with the help of Kat's tow strap to help me steer through the woods.

SO after many months of my rear ARB not functioning I finally have a fix. I had a couple of problems going on. first of all the seal housing of the RD99 was too far out on the flange cap assembly so the seal would slip off the end and leak air. that has been fixed but the locker would still not function. So I tore it apart this weekend and compared the locker to the pictures and found some internal damage. The internals are quite simple and includes spider gears and a clutch gear that slides ...

I'm looking for a rim for my spare Tahoe tire. The tire is 285/70/r17 so if I did my homework right that means I need a rim that is 7-9 inches wide and 17 inches tall with 6 lug bolt pattern. I don't care what shape it's in or color or anything like that. I just don't want to put out $100 if I don't have to. Let me know if any of you come across one in your travels. Thanks!

Yes, if they close the beach. No, if we drive north about 30-45 minutes there is another 18 mile stretch of beach that we can drive on. Carova Beach is up past Corrola. The problem would be in the driving or finding another hotel farther north so that we dont have to drive so far.

Last year at Big Dogs (oddly... the ONLY one I have been able to attend so far)... I shifted the front axle...

"Supposedly" it was designed for 0-6" of lift...

Well... it looks closer to minimum of 3" or my springs are REALLY starting to sag.
